Birds of My Neighborhood. Activity Book
This book results from a collaboration of 28 Mexican co-authors who are volunteer coordinators of the Urban Bird Program (Programa de Aves Urbanas, PAU) of CONABIO and the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Our common goal is to support all people interested in learning more about birds through fun activities, outdoor and traditional games, field practices, and crafts. Additionally, we expect this book will inspire people of all ages to protect birds and conserve their habitats. The PAU is a participatory science network of the Directorate of Cooperation and Management of Information for the Knowledge and Conservation of Birds (Dirección de Cooperación y Gestión de Información para el Conocimiento y Conservación de las Aves, DCGICCA) of the National Commission for the Knowledge and Use of Biodiversity (Comisión Nacional para el Conocimiento y Uso de la Biodiversidad , CONABIO) in the Secretariat of Environment and Natural Resources (Secretaría de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales, SEMARNAT) of Mexico. The book is in Spanish.
