We returned to Mpala Research Centre, in Laikipia, Kenya, in January 2019 for 3 weeks of training and research with eight incredible Cornell undergraduate students. Every day in Kenya is spectacular, with highlights of this trip including two expeditions up Mt. Kenya and many days in the field collecting data on weaver nests. Students joining the expedition were Hermione Deng, Samantha Hagler, Tristan Herwood, Eric Hughes, Raisa Kochmaruk, Kelsie Lopez, Chloe Mikles, and Chris Sayers. Co-leading this expedition was Dr. Emma Greig, leader of Project FeederWatch at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
