  Bird Coloring Book

The Bird Coloring Book contains line drawings of many common feeder birds. Print out and have your students color the images below using a Feeder Bird poster (Supplies Order Form) or a field guide from our Bibliography.

Most of the pictures in this coloring book were drawn by the noted bird artist and ornithologist, Louis Agassiz Fuertes (1872-1927). Fuertes, a native of Ithaca, New York and a Cornell University graduate, is known for his realistic bird art. Look for his signature initials: L. A. F. The other drawings are by William Montagna, signature initials: W. M.

In order to download the coloring book, you will need to have Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® set up on your computer. To obtain a free copy, visit the Adobe® web site at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
